Homo neanderthalensis

“No animals is harmed in the creation of these products"

Neanderthals (Homo neanderthalensis) were a pivotal species in the evolutionary history of archaic humans, belonging to the family Hominidae and genus Homo. They inhabited northern Eurasia approximately 400,000 to 40,000 years ago. Their distinctive morphology included robust cranial bones, prominent and massively thickened brow ridges, a short and flattened face, a thick mandible lacking a chin, a stocky and compact body with short, thick limbs, and a broad, barrel-shaped thorax—physical adaptations perfectly suited to the cold climatic conditions of the glacial period. Neanderthals possessed well-developed muscle attachment sites, with powerfully built upper limbs and flexible hand bones that provided exceptional grip strength, making them adept at crafting and using stone tools and hunting large game. Their lower limb bones were sturdy and robust, supporting a steady, deliberate gait.

This Neanderthal musculature model is scientifically reconstructed based on authentic skeletal fossil data, with professional anatomical structure restoration. Digital modeling was executed by digital artist Bitan.
