Evolutio (also known as Evolaboratory) is an American studio creating hyper-realistic anatomy sculptures and officially licensed film-prop reproductions. The brand was built over four years in collaboration with world-renowned scientists, zoologists, and artists — from collecting and ordering real anatomical data on animal musculature, to high-resolution 3D scanning and digital remodeling, to final finishing.

Evolutio's anatomical models are designed and digitally sculpted by founder Tan Bi, an American sculptor and prop designer. Tan Bi is a digital-effects artist and digital sculptor who served as chief modeler at Tippett Studio, teaches digital modeling at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco, and is Director of Digital-to-Practical Sculpture at Anatomy Tools. He has designed and modeled core characters for many well-known Hollywood film and television productions (IMDb: nm13537437).

Evolutio also produces fine-art bronzes officially licensed by Universal Studios, including the Jurassic Park III Spinosaurus, the JAWS great white shark, and the "Clever Girl" Velociraptor.

The painting of the Evolutio series is led by artists Oskar Ankarudd and David Zhou. Oskar Ankarudd is a world-class painter who has exhibited in Sweden and contributed creature and concept design to Hollywood films. David Zhou is an independent Shanghai-based artist focused on fantasy-creature sculpture.

Special thanks to design directors Professor Sui Hongjin and Andrew Cawrse. Professor Sui Hongjin specializes in clinical applied anatomy, neurobiology, and bioplastination, and is a pioneer of plastination in China. Andrew Cawrse, formerly of Industrial Light & Magic, creates artistic-anatomy reference models regarded as an industry standard.

Every Evolutio sculpture is built from real anatomical data and reviewed by anatomy specialists, suitable for medical and veterinary education, artistic study, and collecting. Pieces are available in PVC, PU, 3D-printing resin (BluePrint), and fine-art bronze, in scales from 1:32 to 1:5.
